This course teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies involving adult, child, and infant victims.

The Heartsaver CPR course is intended for all individuals who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, including:

This course is offered by James Williams who over ten years ago James began dedicating himself to public service by volunteering at his local fire department in Mt. Baldy. During that time, James earned his E.M.T. certification. He received training in fire suppression, and fire codes private and public section. James worked at San Antonio Community Hospital as an E.M.T in the E.R. This has given him valuable experience working in the field and in a hospital environment. James Williams now currently works at the Claremont Club as the Manager on Duty & Safety Director. He continues to personal train. Included in his duties, James serves as a CPR, AED, First Aid, and BLS Instructor.
Participants will receive an American Heart Association (AHA) certification based on the discipline (CPR, CPR/AED, First Aid, BLS, etc.). It will also cover Adult, Child, and Infant CPR. AHA is a two year certification based on discipline learned. Delivery of certificates will take two weeks.
